"NLExtract levert tools, recepten en voorbeelden om vrije Nederlandse (overheids-) geodata sets zoals BAG en Top10NL te converteren en te visualiseren. NLExtract wordt o.a. gebruikt in PDOK. NLExtract is Open Source (GPLv3) en gebruikt tools zoals GDAL/OGR. De nadruk ligt op het converteren van vector data (GML/XML) naar de ruimtelijke database PostgreSQL/PostGIS en het visualiseren met SLDs en QGIS."

We all know that having data officially available is not the same as it being accessible. In the eye-opening and useful Blog of Gert-Jan van der Weijden ( in Dutch, I am sorry) , he tells how he searched for the official dutch address data that is supposed to be accessible as well as available. And he does come up with a solution: how to actually acquire said data...!
