Introducing new open source and open data place search engine

This blog post [1] introduces a new "search engine for places", based on open data (OSM) and open source software. It is an especially interesting project, because it addresses some shortcomings of existing geocoders [2] like scalability and flexibility. Personally, I find the (admittedly basic, but still...) implementation of a reverse geocoder [3] remarkable.
