Python father steps down

Guido van Rossum, the father of Python AKA Benevolent Dictator For Life or BDFL, just announced that he will not be involved anymore in the development and coordination of this popular programming language. Guido wrote yesterday (12 July 2018): I would like to remove myself entirely from the decision process. I'll still be there for a while as an ordinary core dev, and I'll still be available to mentor people -- possibly more available.

On Flowingdata.com (a site to follow if you're interested in data visualization anyway) there is now an excellent treaty on small multiples: Not only a well-thought explanation of the pro's and con's of the technique, but also a great hands-on demo using Python, and pointers to similar demos using other techniques (e.g. D3).
