How can we integrate geo-information from formal and informal sources (static and mobile) in a rapid and meaningful way?
Description of research interests:
Applications domains such as disaster management, mobile computing and ad hoc event monitoring require rapid mapping platforms in order to integrate geo-information. Meaningful integration is achieved through web services which are interoperable, both syntactically and semantically. The research challenge is to build platforms which support software developers, information providers and end-users with the right tools and interfaces for spatio-temporal information analysis and dissemination.
