People who constantly reach into a pocket to check a smartphone for bits of information will soon have another option: a pair of Google-made glasses that will be able to stream information to the wearer’s eyeballs in real time. Rumour has it that the glasses will go on sale to the public by the end of the year. The source indicated the goggs are expected “to cost around the price of current smartphones,” or $250 to $600.

Uitnodiging workshop 'In Business met Open Data!'

 

 Geachte Relatie van IIPGeo, IIPSAAS, IIPProductsoftware en ECP Platform Open Data,



Graag nodigen wij u uit voor de workshop 'In business met Open Data' op 6 maart 2012 bij IBM in Amsterdam. Het doel van deze workshop is de focus te bepalen voor een innovatieprogramma op het gebied van open data in het kader van de Digitale Agenda en de Topsectoren.



De doelgroep is kernspelers uit bedrijfsleven, overheid en kennisinstellingen die open data willen benutten. De organisatie is in handen van IIPGeo (trekker), IIPSaaS, IIPProductsoftware en ECP Platform Open Data. Middagvoorzitter is dr. Rolf de By, UT ITC/ IIPGeo.

13.20 uur - Status en ontwikkelingen ICT Roadmap & Topsectoren: prof.dr.ir. A.W.M. Smeulders (UvA)

13.35 uur - Gelegenheid voor vragen

13.40 uur - Pitches 'use cases' Open Data Topsectoren:
