Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity

There is a new version of the Netherlands code of conduct for research integrity. This code focuses on five guiding principles for research and research organizations: honesty, scrupulousness, transparency, independence and responsibility.

Why is this code important for you?
Let me copy here a short bit from the preamble:

For researchers, trainee researchers and students, it provides an educational and normative framework (chapters 2 and 3) that they are expected to internalize and be guided by in their research activities.
For the executive boards of research institutions and for research integrity committees, it provides a frame of reference when assessing alleged research misconduct (chapters 3 and 5).
For institutions, it sets out a number of duties of care (chapter 4).

I recommend reading chapters 2 and 3. The latter one contains a list of 61 standards or good practices that should be known to everyone but it is good to see such a systematically organized list.
