Description:

Since October 2016 the Microsoft HoloLense ring in a new age in visualization technology. This independent running system enabled a new perspective for cartographic applications. Due to the potential of these system to the cartographic condition have to be determined. Your tasks will be to give us a short outline about the HoloLense history and to investigate the Microsoft device about their system building, practical handling, robustness for in- and outdoor application, possible cartographic tasks, gesture control, hard- and software constrains and implementation efforts to get geo data (e.g. Collada-, Shape-Files) into an interactive editing environment.

Skills:
Less programming skills necessary in all probability the master thesis will be a theoretical analysis.
