Irene Garcia-Martí has a background in Computer Science + GIS and currently works as a PhD in ITC-University of Twente. Her main research interests are focused on Data Analytics/Data Science and User-Generated Geographic Content, concretely, on how to extract information from the crowd and modelling it using machine learning algorithms. On her free time, Irene enjoys travelling, reading and playing computer games, the last one with limited achievements. She also enjoys cooking Spanish/Valencian food to her friends and has demonstrated low level skills on gardening and how to grow her own vegetables, something that tries to do every summer season
