Javier Morales' research interest

Modern geo-information processing and dissemination takes place in distributed environments where the fundamental mechanism of work is Web Services. Web services have become quite popular because of their intrinsic ability to operate above data representations, programming languages, operating systems, etc. In this context the focus of my research is the development of system architectures and/or frameworks to reorganize standard applications and processes into sets of web services (this could be both SOA or Rest based). Such framework would allow the exploitation of geo-resources to address the needs and requirements of communities interested in spatio-temporal challenges.
